great place to go for a quick bite with the mrs or friends
Prices are reasonable, the flavours authentic.
great menu to chose from. The portions are also great.
Not like the little portions you get from other resturants.
Great place and i will advice it if you want a change.
£10 - £14 two people can eat really well here. -

Used to come here quite a lot for their whole chicken after a gym session or 5 a side football and it's been a while since I last game but in passing I came in after a long day out today.
Much like a long lost friend would greet you on the street with the caveat that you can't quite picture who he is, when you last saw him or what his actual name is, or even if you did meet, I was welcomed into the restaurant very warmly. It's a trait of many of the ethnic restaurants in this area actually. A lot of locals use these eateries so I felt comfortable being one of them albeit I hadn't been back for some time. The inside is your standard asian style canteen room. Very basic so don't expect much. But I don't think anyone would. It's not that type of place
I had seen the sign outside and I of course ordered the whole chicken. Not all my myself, I'm that much of a fat beast. But
to take back home for others to share.
What I would say is that for its cheapness is that the chicken doesn't seem to have as much flavouring or spice as what I last remember it had. It felt too moist. And by that I mean in a non sexual way. No I mean there are methods of cooking chicken that I know of where you put water on the base of it cooking to steam it slightly. Now I'm not sure at all it was cooked this way but it felt a bit too watered down in terms of texture. Not sure why but hoping it was an off day unless different techniques are being used. Doubt I will be back for a while as fresh whole chicken's are readily available to buy in supermarkets too, but I did used to like Paradise's whole chickens. Not quite the paradise I remember certainly. -

So cheap it was insane, I got the take away deal with included half a chicken, pilau rice, salad and a can of Dr.Pepper for £4!! Amazing and tasty!

A canteen style eaterie, Paradise specialises in classic North Indian / Pakistani dishes.
Prices are reasonable, the flavours authentic and the portions huge! You can choose from a menu and wait for the food to be cooked to eat-in or choose from prepared dishes to either eat-in or take away.
With around 12 kebabs / marinaded and barbecued meats to choose from, you'll be spoiled for choice. Vegetarians are catered for too, after all India is the home of good vegetarian cuisine. Spinach, aubergine, okra and pulses feature as do paneer and yoghurt curry (a rare treat). There are numerous birianis to choose from too.
Give it a go, for around £10 - £14 two people can eat really well here. -

Nice, welcoming staff. They do Classic North Indian/Pakistani food. Try barbequed chicken, they will make it while you wait. Food is just delicious no matter what you try.
Pricewise is a quite cheap eat but so full of flavour.
